BIDDEFORD – Quentin Merrill Blackstone, 56, passed away March 7, 2008, at Southern Maine Medical Center. Quentin was a graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of the 1969 State Championship Basketball Team. He earned his education degree from the University of Maine – Presque Isle and taught school for many years before becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse, retiring in 2002. He was a very active member of Second Congregational Church, Biddeford, as well as Common Connection Club, Masonic Lodge No. 215, Old Orchard Beach. Committal services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 20, at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements in care of Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou.
