ST. FRANCIS – R. Betty Jandreau, 81, died Oct. 3, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. She was born March 25, 1924, in Allagash, the daughter of Ernest and Eunice (Castonguay) Walker. She is survived by her beloved husband, Adrien, of 56 years; two sons, Dale and his wife, Linda, of Lewiston and Peter of Fort Kent; two brothers, Maurice Walker of St. Francis and Leo Walker of Caribou; two sisters, Patricia Nadeau of St. Francis and Mary Ouellette of Connecticut; six grandchildren, Kevin Osborne, Keith Jandreau, Jeffery Jandreau, Timothy Osborne, Christopher Jandreau, Jennifer Jandreau and Sara Jandreau; five great-grandchildren, Lucas Nadeau, Cameron Osborne, Meghan Staples, Zachery Polley and Zaryn Hall. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Rene Walker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis, with the Rev. James Nadeau officiating. Committal service will follow in the St. Francis Parish cemetery. All arrangements were made by the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, 14 East Main St., Fort Kent.
