MILFORD – Ramie Joseph Dyer, 31, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007. He was born in Lynn, Mass., and spent his early childhood there until the age of 5, when he moved to Maine with his family. He was raised in Greenbush and graduated from Old Town High School, Class of 1995. Ramie enjoyed history, playing cards, his Xbox 360, watching movies and attending church. He always wanted to be a dad and also enjoyed spending time with his son, Evan. He had a commanding presence and a strong personality. While in a room, he usually owned the floor. Ramie was passionate and opinionated about what he believed in. He was employed by his family’s leather shop by the age of 15 and often traveled with his uncle George across the country going to different shows. Ramie was predeceased by his younger brother, Nathaniel Ernst Dyer. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Walter and Sheila Dyer of Greenbush; his mother and stepfather, Cindy and Craig Glynn of Leavenworth, Kan.; younger brothers, Justin Dyer and Luke Smith; and younger sisters, Jennifer Dyer and Devren Smith; his girlfriend and mother of his child, Jamie Ness; and his handsome 4 year old, Evan Nathaniel Dyer. He will never be forgotten by his special friends and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ramie, we will all carry you in our hearts now and forever. You will be greatly missed by your family and friends. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10.
