RAMON WOODWARD KING DOVER-FOXCROFT and SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Ramon Woodward King, 60, died Oct. 29, 2003, at his home in Santa Barbara, Calif. He was born Aug. 15, 1943, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of John A. King Sr. and Beatrice (Plummer) King. A graduate of Foxcroft Academy, he moved to Massachusetts, where he worked as a barber after graduating from Vaughn Barber School in 1964. He later moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., where he graduated from Santa Barbara Business College and then from Associated Technical College as a radiology technician and an emergency medical technician. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, John Jr., Benjamin, and Earl; one sister, Helen King Church. He is survived by five brothers, Paul and wife, Susan, of Easton, Mass., Harlan and wife, Mildred, of Dexter, Ernest and wife, Deborah, of Dover-Foxcroft, Albert and wife, Chomsuk, of Dover-Foxcroft, and Gary of Ft. Myers, Fla.; three sisters, Alfreda Cote and husband, Gene, of Dexter, twin sister, Ramona Larrabee and husband, Raymond, of Dover-Foxcroft, and Beatrice McNeal and husband, Les, of Nashville, Tenn. Graveside services at the family lot in Rural Grove Cemetery will be announced in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
