GARFIELD PLANTATION – Raymond C. McKee, 90, died May 10, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1916, in Masardis, the son of Charles and Linnie (Clark) McKee. He worked on the family farm in Masardis for many years. After his parents passing he lived in Bangor for a few years with his sister, Marguerite Hagar and her family. In 1972, he moved to Garfield Plantation, where he had his own home. The last three years he had been a resident of Southern Acres Boarding Home, Westfield. Raymond enjoyed all people and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Avis of Presque Isle and Ruth of Garfield; and several loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, Lendell and Lawrence; and a sister, Marguerite McNally Hagar Relatives and friends may call 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, until time of service at Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Committal service and interment will be at Masardis Municipal Cemetery.
