JACKSONVILLE, N.C. – Raymond Crocker Gordon, 71, loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle, died Jan. 27, 2007, in Raleigh, N.C. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was an avid motorcyclist and a member of the GWRRA and the American Legion. He was predeceased by his parents, Fon Elwood and Erma S. Gordon; a brother, Russell LeBlanc; a sister-in-law, Joan LeBlanc; and his grandson, Siddharth Shenoy. Surviving are his wife, Madeline Gordon; three daughters, Jean Benvenuto, Heather Shenoy and Caroline O’Hara; a son, Russell Gordon; nieces, Jean Ashmore and Ann LeBlanc; and two grandchildren, Jacob Benvenuto and Melanie Kayserilioglu and her husband, Kerem. A memorial service was at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville, N.C.
