KNOX – Raymond I. Webber, 64, died Nov. 2, 2003, at a Belfast hospital. He was born January 26, 1939, in Belfast, the son of Lloyd and Priscilla (Stevens) Webber. He was a 23-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving in Vietnam. He worked many years locally as an automotive mechanic. He was a life member of the D.A.V., VFW and American Legion all in Belfast. He enjoyed wood-working and loved his family. He was predeceased by a brother, Dallas; and is survived by two daughters, Sonia Webber of South Carolina, Sandra Lane of Georgia; two sons, James and Raymond Webber, both of Puerto Rico; a brother, Eugene Webber of Belfast; three sisters, Shirley Porter of Dresden, Beverly Suddy and Joan Ash, both of Belfast; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Grove Cemetery in Belfast. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
