MATTAWAMKEAG and FLORIDA – Raymond M. Moore, 50, died un-expectedly Nov. 30, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 28, 1955, in Lincoln, the son of Deloris (Price) Moore Arnold of Glenburn and the late Roy Charles Moore Jr. Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and was a life member of Hamm-McGinley, VFW Post No. 7409 of Mattawamkeag. He recently moved to Maine from Florida to be near his family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Anthony Moore of Hudson; a daughter, Shawna Dill and her husband, Joseph, of Glenburn; three grandchildren, Ana Raivyn Smith-Dill, Azrielle Dill and Aidan Dill; a sister Mary Lou Moore of Glenburn; and his former wife and friend, Rosia Moore. Friends may call from noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Craig officiating. Interment will be in Mattawamkeag Cemetery, with military honors being rendered by VFW Post 7409. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Maine Veterans’ Home in Bangor.
