BLUE HILL – Raymond R. Robertson, 83, died Feb. 3, 2008, at a Ban-gor hospital. He was born June 26, 1924, in Blue Hill, the son of Albert A. and Carrie (Williams) Robertson. Raymond attended George Stevens Academy and served in the U.S. Army during World War II, from 1942 to 1946, in the Pacific Theater. Raymond owned various businesses throughout his life, and found great joy in meeting new people and making new friends. He also had a lot of fun portraying “The Stud” in the EBS ads. His great sense of humor will truly be missed. He is survived by one son, Bruce Robertson of California; two daughters, Beth Robertson and fianc?, Art Menses, of New-port, and Jane Miltner and husband, Brad, of Blue Hill; grandchildren, Megan Tait and Michael Miltner; great-grand-son, Solomon Tyler; a sister, Mona Goodwin of Bangor; two brothers, Calvin and Joseph; and special friend, Janet Allen. A celebration of Ray’s life and military service will be announced in the spring.
