BAR HARBOR and ELLSWORTH – Reginald H. Fletcher went to be with his Lord Sept. 5, 2007, in Vernon, Conn. He was born April 6, 1926, in Bar Harbor, the son of Mary and Henry Fletcher. Reg worked many years in the Blue Hill school system and the Bar Harbor YMCA, where he was noted for his cheerful, “Howdy Howdy.” He leaves behind his wife, Elma; a son, Eugene; daughters, Regina Doe and Kathy Cliver; a stepson, Charles Ross; and a very special stepdaughter and loving care giver, Debbie Cormmen; a sister, Lois Wagenknecht and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held in Connecticut at a later date. Safe trip home, dear one. We shall miss you.
