ST. FRANCIS – Reginald Jandreau, 79, died April 17, 2008, at his residence. He was born March 17, 1929, in St. Francis, son of Felix and Philomen (Thibodeau) Jandreau. Reginald was a trucker for Pinkham Lumber for many years. He was a member of St. Charles Parish and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus – Fort Kent Assembly No. 0352. His favorite pastime was fishing and he took great pride in his gardening. He also had a great love for his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alvia (Charette) Jandreau of St. Francis; five sons, David of Fort Kent, Russell of St. Francis, Bernard and Daniel of Connecticut and Arthur of Soldier Pond; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Reginald is also survived by two brothers, Alphie and Robert of Florida; and one sister, Annette Dumond of Soldier Pond. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one granddaughter, Kimberly in 1997; as well as four brothers and four sisters. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, and 9 a.m. until time of departure for St. Francis Wednesday, April 23, at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated with full 4th Degree honors 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis. Spring burial will be held May 14 at the parish cem-etery. Those who wish may donate in Reginald’s memory to Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, 194 E. Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
