WALLAGRASS – Reginald Rioux, 79, died peacefully May 2, 2008, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born May 4, 1928, in Fort Kent, the son of Henry Sr. and Exit (Dumond) Rioux. Reginald’s favorite pastimes were fishing and joking with his family and friends. He served in the U.S. Army for several years and was a member of American Legion Lozier O’Grady Post of Fort Kent. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Yvette (Cyr) (Taggett) Rioux of Wallagrass; his children, Judy (Rioux) and her husband, Perry Wade, of Fort Myers, Fla., Roger and his wife, Charlene Taggart, of Fort Kent, Terry Rioux of Fort Kent, Todd and his wife, Elizabeth Rioux, of Manchester, Conn., Susan (Taggart) and her husband, Andre Langevin, of Stratford Springs, Conn.; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Rioux, Cindy and her husband, Edmond Theriault, Von and his wife, Whitney Tag-gart, Mathew Taggart, Tyler and Derek Rioux and their mother, Sandra, Armando Gon-zalez, Jessica Rioux and Michael Cyr; three great-grand-children, Jordan, Summer and Hunter; and one brother, Louis Phillip Rioux of Frenchville. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Joan (Laferriere) Rioux; and one brother, Henry Rioux. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and 8-9:30 a.m. Thursday at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial with full military honors will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Eagle Lake.
