WOODVILLE and EAST MILLINOCKET – Rella (Saucier) Michaud Chesley, 85, died Aug. 13, 2004, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1919, in Soldier Pond, and was the last surviving child of the 19 children of Hilaire and Malvina (Saucier) Saucier. Rella married Samuel Michaud, July 13, 1936, and he died in 1954. She later married William E. Chesley, and he died in 1997. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. Ann Circle No. 545, and was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Millinocket. She is survived by two sons, Danforth Michaud and Samuel Michaud Jr., both of Lincoln; five daughters, Cecelia Murphy of Millinocket, Pauline Bowers of Smithfield, Linda Kimball and her husband, George, of Woodville, Beatrice Preston and her husband, Donald, of Wytopitlock, and Diane Beach and her husband, Lewis, of Topsfield; a step-daughter, Amy Lee and her husband, William, of Lincoln; four stepsons, Orin Chesley and his wife, Sheila, of Woodville, Arthur Chesley and his wife, Sally, and Clifton Chesley, all of Lincoln, and Cary Chesley and his wife, Linda, of Enfield; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 20 step-grandchildren; 35 great-stepgrandchildren; four great-great-stepgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by three grandchildren, Steven Stinson, Reginald Preston and Danforth Michaud Jr.; a son-in-law, Linwood Bowers Jr.; a stepson, Albert Chesley; and a step-daughter, Gail Fleming. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, during which time the Daughters of Isabella will recite the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lincoln, with the Rev.
