SOUTH PARIS and VAN BUREN – Rene Levesque, 82, died Dec. 7, 2007, at a Van Buren nursing home. He was born March 16, 1925, in Drummond, New Brunswick, the son of Israel and Henidine (Caron) Levesque. Rene worked in the refrigeration industry for most of his working life. He was a resident of South Paris before relocating to Van Buren earlier this year. He is survived by two sisters, Alexina Godbout LeBlanc of Portland and Diane Cimon of Iroquois, New Brunswick; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Rhobie (Jordan) Levesque, in 2006. Relatives and friends may call 12:30 p.m. Monday until time of service 2 p.m. at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, with Father David Cote officiating. Spring interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanic Falls. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in his memory to a charity of one’s choice.
