SANGERVILLE – Rev. Danville Mayhew, 95, died April 25, 2004, at Dexter Health Care. He was born Feb. 21, 1909, at Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Hiram and Lenora Mayhew. He was the former pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle of Parkman. He was a fire warden for the State of Maine on the fire towers, worked in health care at BMHI in Bangor, and was special police force at Fay & Scott. Danville was predeceased by his wife, Ida Mayhew; two sons, Herbert and John Mayhew; one grandson, Randy Mayhew; and one great-granddaughter, Brandi Scales. He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Viola Mayhew of Corinna, Ralph and Marilyn Mayhew of Parkman, and Bill and Ida Mayhew of Corinna; three stepchildren, Pat Johnson, Rev. Barry Buzzell and Gary Buzzell; a special granddaughter, Nancy Webber, who spent countless hours providing him with special care; several grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004, at the Rural Grove cemetery, Dover-Foxcroft.
