BALTIMORE, Md. – The Rev. Elton M. Crossland, of Baltimore, died Jan. 7, 2005. He was born in Orono, May 30, 1928, the son of Charles and Idella Goodwin Crossland. He was the pastor of Linden Heights United Methodist Church. He was the beloved husband of Doris (Harding) Crossland, devoted father of Judy Crossland and Pat Crossland-Smith, and dear brother of Thelma Crossland Robie of Orono. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Carlton and Donald Crossland. A memorial service was held on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at the Linden Heights United Methodist Church in Baltimore.
