ATHENS, Pa. and WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Jana Lynne Dempsey, 33, of Athens and formerly of Williamsport, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005. She was born March 24, 1971, in Williamsport, a daughter of Joseph E. and Patricia M. (Bowden). She is survived by her parents; one son, Alex C. Sherman of Athens, Pa.; one brother, Jon P. Dempsey of Williamsport; maternal grandparents, Wallace and Elizabeth Bowden of Orrington, Mass.; aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a public viewing 6-8 p.m. Friday, with a Rosary service at 7 p.m., at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport, PA. A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church, 702 West Fourth St., Williamsport, PA, with the Rev. Gregory Villaescusa officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
