MURFREESBORO, Tenn. The Rev. Everett Edward Kennedy, 64, died Friday, Dec. 18, 2007. A native of Charles Town, Mass., he was a retired technical sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, and retired with Pillsbury Bakery, Murfreesboro, Tenn. Mr. Kennedy was a member of The Pentecostals of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Shirley Armstrong Kennedy; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Stephan Summers, and Nicole and Justin Saling; grandchildren, Victoria and Lauren Summers, and Gentry Saling, all of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; sisters, Betty Newcomb of Maine, Phyllis Fitzpatrick, Marion Derrick, Faye Marshall, all of Georgia, and Shirley Beasley of Kentucky; brothers, Carroll Kennedy of Massachusetts and Donnie Kennedy of New Jersey. He was predeceased by his parents, George Edward and Glenna Drake Kennedy; nd a grandson, Kennedy Saling. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Phil Depriest, the Rev. Wayne Shrum, and the Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Burial will be after at Evergreen Cemetery with full military honors.
