TILTON, N.H. – The Rev. Milton L. Smith, 82, formerly of the Bangor area, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Concord Hospital, Concord, N.H. He was born April 24, 1925, in Fremont, N.H., the son of the Rev. Frederick and the Rev. Laura (Tandy) Smith. The Rev. Smith pastored in Corinth, and in several other local communities in New Hampshire. His family members include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy (Cole) Smith of Tilton, N.H.; four sons, Milton Smith Jr. of Strafford, N.H., Kevin Smith Sr. of Missouri, the Rev. Lee Smith of Athol, Mass., and Frederick Smith of Warner, N.H.; a daughter, Nathalie Leclair of Kittery; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Neilson Smith; and a sister, Nathalie Turner. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 79 Clinton St., Concord, N.H. Contributions may be made in the Rev.
