FORT KENT – Richard Belanger, 67, died Dec. 15, 2004, at his residence in Fort Kent. He was born in Fort Kent, July 27, 1937, the son of Leon and Evelyn (Fortin) Belanger. Richard’s faith was very strong, attending mass every Sunday. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his brother, David Belanger of Fort Kent; two sisters, Lita Bouley of Cross Lake and Dianne Belanger of Lake Tahoe, Ariz.; his nephew, Ronald Bouley Jr. of Cross Lake; two nieces, Amy Bouley Jr. of Cross Lake and Heather Davenport of Fort Kent. Richard was predeceased by his father in 1988; and mother in 2002. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, 9 a.m. Saturday until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Spring burial will be held May 18, 2005, in the parish cemetery.
