BANGOR – Richard Cecil Caldwell, 67, moved on to his heavenly home Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Dade City, Fla. He was born Oct. 1, 1940, in Mars Hill. Richard was self-employed most of his life and enjoyed flying and playing pool. He was a member of Bangor Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his father, Cecil of Mars Hill. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Lois; four sons, Timothy and wife, Carrie, of Levant, Brent and companion, Kathy, of Rochester, Mich., Steven and wife, Debbie, of Glenburn and Joel and wife, Kim, of Barre, Vt.; mother, Zella Caldwell of Mars Hill; one brother, Carl and his wife, Beverly, of Charlotte, N.C.; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one on the way; very special friends, Bill and Gloria Lento of Mars Hill and Dade City, Fla.; Minister David and Betty Forkert of Dade City, Fla. At his request, there will be no services and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice of Dade City, Fla.
