HERMON – Richard D. Over-lock, 68, died unexpectedly Nov. 27, 2007 at his home. He was born Jan. 26, 1939, in East Corinth, son of Linwood and Edith (Strout) Overlock. Richard served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by one sister, Louise Swonke of Montgomery, Texas; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and special friends, Mike and Starlene Swoboda and their daughter, Teresa. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, with the Rev. Clayton Blackstone, pastor of Bangor Advent Christian Church, officiating. Spring interment will be at Snows Corner Cemetery, Hermon.
