MADAWASKA – Paul Bourgoin, 76, died Nov. 30, 2007, at a Madawaska nursing home. He was born Oct. 2, 1931, in Madawaska, the son of Hubald and Modeste (Pelletier) Bourgoin. He is survived by his wife, Jeannine (Campagna) Bourgoin of Madawaska; two sons, Danny Bourgoin and his wife, Arlene, of Frenchville and Kenny Bourgoin of Calais; one sister, Janet Pelletier of Madawaska; three grandchildren, Shawn and Tasha Bourgoin, and Brandon Bourgoin; his mother, Debra Bourgoin; and several nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Pat and Della, who provided daily comfort care to Paul during his illness. Paul was predeceased by two brothers, George and Gerald Bourgoin; and by one sister, Priscilla Bourgoin. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Fri-ends and relatives may call noon Wednesday until time of services at Daigle Funeral Home. Interment will be at Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
