RICHARD G. CHEVERIE LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Richard G. Cheverie, 68, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007, at his residence. Richard was a member and past master of the Henry Haines Masonic Lodge and Crescent Temple of the Shrine, New Jersey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for the Woolworth Co. for 37 years, and owned and operated the Country Skillet Restaurant, West Palm Beach, Fla., for five years. Richard is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 49 years, Rosemarie; two daughters, Debbie Brixius of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and Lynn and William Barry of Williamstown, N.J.; four sons, Richard and Colleen Cheverie of Williamstown, N.J., Shawn Cheverie of Marietta, Ga., Robert Cheverie of Williamstown, N.J., and Gregg Cheverie of Delray Beach, Fla.; brother, Robert Cheverie of Annapolis, Md.; sister, Judith Hubbard of Bangor; and eight grandchildren. A cryptside service will be held for Richard 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Lake Worth, Fla., with the Rev. Ann Thompson, of Christ Fellowship Church, officiating. Friends and family may pay their respects 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fla.
