SEARSMONT – Richard H. Calligan, 58, passed away July 27, 2006, in Peabody, Mass. He was born Sept. 1, 1947, in Framingham, Mass. and was raised in Grand Lake Stream by his parents, Harold Eugene and Evie Florence (Bagley) Calligan. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He worked for the F.C.C. for 181/2 years in Belfast and Boston. Richard enjoyed Maine life, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. He loved all animals, especially his dogs. He lived in Searsmont for 17 years with his wife of 31 years, Linda. He is also survived by his son, Richard; daughter, Danielle; granddaughter, Nat-alie, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
