EASTON – Richard J. Guyan Sr., 72, died Feb. 3, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Joseph M. and Natalie (Shepard) Guyan. He served in the U.S Air Force and the U.S. Navy for many years. Richard had recently been employed at the Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle, and with Jim’s Auto Sales. He enjoyed family outings, antique cars, car shows and karaoke. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Daniel R. Guyan. Surviving him are two sons, Richard J. Guyan Jr. of Presque Isle and Kevin M. Guyan of Washburn; two daughters, Deborah L. Jacques and Holly J. Kimball and her husband, Eric, all of Easton; a sister, Jackie Johnson of Rochdale, Mass.; several grandchildren, great-grand-children, nieces and nephews. A military graveside service will be held at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Caribou, later in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
