EXETER – Richard Maloon, 29, died Aug. 2, 2006, in Sangerville. He was born Dec. 4, 1976, in Bangor, son of Richard Kimball and Mary (Maloon) Wright. He graduated from Dexter Regional High School, Class of 1996. He attended college in Ohio and became certified as an auto mechanic. He loved to ride motorcycles with his stepfather. He is survived by his mother of Exeter; a sister, Zita (Maloon) Buck and her companion, Wayne Prescott, and her son, Nathan, all of Corinna; a brother, Carlos Maloon and Shelby Seekins and their son, Gage Maloon, all of Dexter; maternal grandparents, Nita and Ralph Elkins of Detroit; several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Dennis “Deke” Wright. A graveside memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Exeter Center Cemetery, with a gathering for family and friends at the home of Mary Wright after the service.
