VERO BEACH, Fla. – Richard Michael Nadeau, 60, passed away peacefully June 27, 2006, at his home in Vero Beach, Fla. He was born in Millinocket, Aug. 11, 1945, and moved to Vero Beach 10 months ago, coming from So. Norwalk, Conn., after 33 years. He graduated from Husson College in 1973, with a BS degree and from Sacred Heart University of Fairfield, Conn. with an MBA. He served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves for 26 years, Yeoman 1st Class, E-6. Before retirement in 2003, he was employed by Pitney Bowes and Pitney Bowes Credit Corp. as a senior portfolio accountant for 27 years. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Judith, of 34 years; loving daughters, Heather A. Tanner of Trumbull, Conn. and Karen E. Nadeau of Vero Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Cole, Logan and Bel?; brothers, Arthur Nadeau of Millinocket, Ronald Joseph Nadeau of So. Portland and Robert Nadeau of Vero Beach, Fla.; sisters, Nadine Bohannan of Unionville, Conn., Anita Blaisdell of Millinocket and Annette Nadeau of Millinocket. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, Fla. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 3, at St. John of The Cross. Full military honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Ft. Pierce, Fla. conducted by VFW Post 3918, Vero Beach, Fla. The family requests donations be made to VNA Hospice Foundation of Indian River County, 1111 36th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960, in memory of Mr. Nadeau.
