OLD TOWN – Richard N. Edstrom, 75, husband of Judith M. (Bostwick) Edstrom, passed away July 22, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Jan. 9, 1932, in Worcester, Mass., the son of Oscar and Grace (Rice) Edstrom. He enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles. He was a member of the Old Town American Legion No. 75, and a lifetime member of the American Motorcycle Association. Richard is survived by his wife of Old Town; two sons, Richard L. Edstrom and his wife, Kimberly, of Shrewsbury, Mass., and Eric N. Edstrom of Dudley, Mass.; one daughter, Kimberly S. and her husband, Peter Hartley, of Millinocket; five grandchildren, Chelsea M., Eric Jr., Devynne Edstrom, all of Charlton, Mass., Logan and Corrie Edstrom of Shrewsbury, Mass.; two sisters, Carol and her husband, Paul Adamsky, of Stockton Springs and Janice and her husband, Robert Baillargeon, of Manchaug, Mass.; sister-in-law, Janet and her husband, Earle Hayford, of St. Augustine, Fla.; mother-in-law, Avis Bostwick of Florida; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date with burial in Auburn, Mass. Arrangements by Memorial Alternatives, 205 Center St., Bangor.
