PROSPECT HARBOR – Richard O. “Dickie” Jordan, 63, died March 28, 2008, at his home. He was born June 26, 1944, in Bar Harbor, son of Lawrence and Mabel (Black) Jordan. Dickie was a lobster fisherman his entire life. He was an avid hunter, loved fishing, especially ice fishing and going camping. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, all his in-laws and many relatives and friends. He is survived by his wife, Faye (Archer) of Prospect Harbor; sons, David and wife, Marla, and their children, Rachel, Jarrod and Logan of Gouldsboro, James and his daughter, Ashlie, of Prospect Harbor, Brian and wife, Kimberly, and their sons, Brody and Aidan of Colorado; brothers, Frankie of Winter Harbor and Robert of Florida; and sister, Sheila Batson of Ellsworth. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Lawrence II; and sister, Janet. Remembrances will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
