RYE, N.H. – Rita I. LeBlanc, 82, of 795 Washington Road, a Nashua, N.H., native and former Bangor resident, died Sunday morning Nov. 12, 2006, at Websters of Rye. Mrs. LeBlanc was born July 17, 1924, in Nashua, N.H., daughter of the late Ernest and Isabelle (Bouchard) Beauregard. She resided in Nashua, N.H., during her youth and also made her home in Portsmouth, N.H., for 10 years, Bangor for 20 years, then in Falmouth and Levant for a time before moving to Rye, N.H., last year. She was predeceased by her husband, Air Force Lt. Col. John Philip Almard LeBlanc, whom she married in Nashua, N.H., November 1945. They had shared 51 years together before his death Dec. 23, 1996. Educated in Nashua, N.H., schools, Mrs. LeBlanc graduated salutatorian from the former Saint Louis High School, Class of 1942. Mrs. LeBlanc loved spending time with her family, enjoyed sailing with her husband and also enjoyed sewing. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Robert LeBlanc in 1997; and a sister, Theresa Charron. Members of her family include two sons, Philip LeBlanc and his life partner, Carolyn Deull, of Oswego, N.Y., and John LeBlanc and his partner, Eric Getchell, of Levant; two daughters and a son-in-law, Peggy Walker of Rye, N.H., and Anne and Charles Rainville of Falmouth; six grandchildren, Rita Lavar, Christine Ross, Sarah Walker, Jenny Walker, Nicole Rainville and Charles Rainville; three great-grandchildren, Emma Walker, Robert Ross and Haille Neillsen; and five nephews, David, Donald, Mark, Robert and Stephen Carron, all of the Nashua, N.H., area. A funeral service and burial will take place in Nashua, N.H. The Farwell Funeral Service, 18 Lock St., Nashua, N.H., is in charge of arrangements.
