CARIBOU – Kathleen “Kay” A. Russell, 85, wife of the late Willard Russell, died Nov. 13, 2006, at Caribou. She was born Sept. 1, 1921, in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Bosse) Akerley. Mrs. Russell was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a member of the Lister Knowlton Post 9389 VFW Ladies Auxiliary, The Henry B. Pratt Post 15, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, as well as the Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Russell was predeceased by her husband, Willard in 1994. She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as special family friends, Lewis and Sylvia Ouellette of Caribou. Friends may call 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. with the Fr. David Raymond officiating. Interment will be at Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
