BREWER – Robert A. Cote Sr., 76, husband of Margaret (Allingham) Cote, died Oct. 19, 2007, at his home with his family. He was born Oct. 26, 1930, in Caribou, son of Thomas P. and Hazel (Tardif) Cote. Bob attended schools in Caribou and Millinocket. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, 1950-1954. He was employed for many years as a dental technician. In later years, Bob owned B&M Dental Laboratory. After retiring, he worked part-time for Dr. Scott McGarr. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Cath-olic Church, where he served as a eucharistic minister for several years. Bob was a Third Degree member of the Very Rev. Richard E. Harvey Knights of Columbus, Council No. 6728, Brewer. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Margaret; his sons, Robert A. Cote Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Brewer; Michael C. Cote and his wife, Kimberly, of Nashua, N.H.; four grandchildren, Andrew, Allison, Taylor and Marissa; one brother, Joseph Cote and his wife, Marcella, of Brewer; three sisters, Evelyn Bouchard of Millinocket, Winifred Grass of Caribou and Lena Bouchard and her husband, Adrian, of Presque Isle; a sister-in-law, Helen Cote of Connecticut; nine nieces, 10 nephews, several great-nieces, great-nephews and many good friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Reynold and Lawrence. Relatives and friends are invited to call 5-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, North Main Street, Brewer, with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor celebrant. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the church parish hall after the service.
