BRADFORD – Robert A. Ploss, 79, the husband of Eliza-beth (Stebbins) Ploss, died May 4, 2007, at a Ban-gor hospital after a long illness. He was born Jan. 3, 1928, in Manchester, N.H., the son of Gustave and Mary (Rae) Ploss. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW in Massachusetts, and had worked as a mechanic for the LePage Bakery fleet of vehicles. Surviving in addition to his wife of Bradford, are two sons, Michael Ploss of Manchester, N.H., and Robert Ploss and his wife, Karen, of Bradford; two daughters, Linda Sutherland and her husband, William, of Bradford and Mary Ann Par-askevas and her husband, William, of Goffstown, N.H.; two brothers, Gustave and Donald Ploss, both of Manchester, N.H.; 10 grandchildren, Rena, Jamie, Angie, Sheena, Vince, John, Alex, Alexis, Melissa and Liz; nine great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dominic, Chloe, Aiden, Victoria, Erica, Angelina, Josh and Mike. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Cynthia Nickerson officiating. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery, Bradford.
