CLIFTON – Robert A. “Bob” Wiles, 70, died Dec. 16, 2006, at a Bangor health care center. He was born Nov. 11, 1936, in Brewer, the son of Arthur and Marion (Morse) Wiles. Robert graduated from Brewer High School, Class of 1955. He attended the University of Maine and Husson College, where he played baseball and basketball and excelled in each sport. He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved all sports especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. His life’s work was building homes, remodeling and was a superb finish carpenter. He was always available to help friends and family when needed. Name it and he was there. Robert is survived by his wife, Marianne; his daughters, Brenda Manzo and Ellen Lenfest and her husband, Jeff Lenfest; a brother, Arthur Wiles and his wife, Glenda; a sister, Barbara Giffard and her husband, Dick; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Wiles; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his beloved mother, Marion Wiles; his father, Arthur Wiles; a sister, Marjorie Brochu; a son-in-law, Steve Manzo; and a grandson, Stevie Manzo. Robert’s wish was that there be no service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
