GEORGETOWN, S.C. – Bob McLaughlin, of Georgetown, S.C., died May 27, 2004, at his home on the Black River, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Frances A. McLaughlin of Georgetown, S.C.; his son, Robert L. McLaughlin of Two Harbors, Minn.; and his daughters, Tammy R. Teague, of Long Beach, Calif., and Tina L. Teague of St. Paul, Minn.; his daughter, Sheila F. Steinberg and her husband, Harris, and their children, Jacob and Jessica, of Doylestown, Pa.; his mother, Gertrude Black McLaughlin of Dexter; his three sisters and their spouses, Ann and Eddie Crowley of Carmel, Rose and Richard Stocker of Exeter, Sally and Bob Campbell of Portland; his brother-in-law, Red Crossman, and his wife, Marge, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; his two sisters-in-law and their spouses, Bunny and Leo Gendreau of Bangor, John and Judy Dahl of Hermon; and his two sisters-in-law, Valerie McMillan, of Frankfort, and Cheryl D. Vigneault of Port Charlotte, Fla. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Dexter United Methodist Church, Dexter. His remains will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Cemetery in Bangor, following the service.
