MILLINOCKET – Robert “Bobby” Cyr, 68, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, in Millinocket. He was born May 30, 1938, in St. Francis, the son of Dennis and Alexina (Jandreau) Cyr. Bobby was a brick mason for 20 years, which he continued doing during the 20 years that he worked at Great Northern Paper Co., Millinocket. He was a past member of B.P.O.E. No. 1521, Millinocket. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Bobby also enjoyed going for boat rides and “special” rides in the country. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, most especially his grandchildren. Bobby is survived by his wife of nearly 46 years, Rachel (Alexander) Cyr of Millinocket; three children, Anethia Howe and her husband, Jim, Roderick Anthony Cyr and Chris Cyr and his fianc?e, Patty Howe, all of Millinocket; six grandchildren, Matthew Cyr, Kyle Brown, Trent Brown, Joseph Howe, Megan Perrault, and Evan Deschene; a brother, Wilfred Cyr and his wife, Ann, of Millinocket; a half sister, Regina Taggert of Canada; his special fish, Minnow; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by three brothers, Albiny, Alfie and Renis; and a sister, Chantal. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Bouchard-Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10.
