BANGOR and BREWER Robert D. Kee, 52, died Jan. 17, 2008, at a Bangor health care center after a brief illness with brain cancer. He was born Nov. 15, 1955, in Bangor, the son of Robert Earl and Avis (Bean) Kee. Bob enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe, while his father was in the Air Force. He attended many schools throughout the U.S. and graduated in 1974 from Bangor High School. He worked 25 years for Eastern Fine Paper, Brewer, until they closed in 2004. He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Bob enjoyed family trips, especially those to the coast and to Bar Harbor, and he loved the time spent with family and friends. A wonderful husband, father and grandfather, Bob is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Pamela (St. Pierre) Kee of Bangor; his son, Spc. Rob Kee and his wife, Jacklin, of Fort Drum, N.Y.; daughter, Jennifer Kee of Bangor; his cherished grandson, Landon Robert of Bangor; his mother, Avis Kee of Brewer; sisters, Wanda Hamm of Bangor and Gloria Cassidy and her husband, Mark, of Eddington; mother-in-law, Vi St. Pierre of Bangor; sister-in-law, Bonny Sue Coffin and her partner, Peter Grant, of Bangor; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Brandy St. Pierre of Veazie; very special friends, Gregg and Jen Mitchell of Kenduskeag, Missy, Dana and Cole Burke of Orrington, Jesse Grant of Bangor and Jeffrey and Lin Hamadey of Brewer; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Earl Kee; and by his father-in-law, Ronald St. Pierre. Family and friends may visit 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Brewer, with the Rev. Rudolph J. Leveille, celebrant. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
