HOULTON and BANGOR – Robert E. Orr, 74, died Jan. 17, 2005, at a Freeport health-care facility. He was born Nov. 23, 1929, at Houlton, the son of Paul R. and Abbie E. (Ramsey) Orr. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his brother, Charles Orr of Venice, Fla.; four aunts, Virginia Bither and Hilda Ramsey of Houlton, Arlene Coil of E. Windsor, Conn., Mary Ohrn of Leduc, Alberta, Canada; several cousins. Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Arthur Myers, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Gifts may be made in Robert’s memory to the Hospice of Aroostook, care of Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton.
