ROBERT F. KELLEY SR. SEAL COVE – Robert F. Kelley Sr., 77, died Sunday, May 23, 2004, after a long history of heart disease. He was born Oct. 7, 1926, the son of the late Alden and Luella Kelley of Seal Cove. Bobby will always be remembered for his hunting, clamming, and gardening skills, and his enjoyment of the outdoor life. He was a carpenter all of his life and he really enjoyed it. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marion (Seavey) Kelley; by his daughter, Betty (Kelley) Merchant and son-in-law, Scott, of Northeast Harbor; and his son, Robert F. Kelley Jr. and daughter-in-law, Jill, of Manset. He has one grandson, Sean Kelley of Manset; three granddaughters, Lorie Kearns of Seal Cove, Tammy Rumill of Tremont, and Stacey Wilbur of Gouldsboro; and six great-grandchildren. Bobby is also survived by his sister, Evelyn Gray of Seal Cove; and one brother Milton Kelley of Trenton. He was predeceased by five brothers. There will be a graveside memorial service held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Center Cemetery, Cape Road, Seal Cove. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 3009 Westwood Drive, Hermon, ME 04401 in his memory.
