ELLSWORTH – Robert G. Hamilton, 75, died July 8, 2007, at an Ells-worth hospital, after a long illness. He was born April 12, 1932, in Town Hill, the son of Ralph W. and Margaret (Linscott) Hamilton. Bob served in the U.S. Army in Korea. After returning home, he worked with his dad in the wood and logging business. He later owned and operated his own business, Hamilton’s Garage on North Street and did over the road trucking for several years. Bob enjoyed fishing and hunting. Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ethel (Keisor); son, Gary; brother, Milton Hamilton and wife, Ida; sister, Helen Carter; two grandsons, Robie and Scott, all of Ellsworth; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Hollis; and son, Ronald. Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
