ROCKPORT – Robert H. Beale, 74, long-time proprietor of the Ledges Motel in Glen Cove, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at his home following a long illness. A visiting hour will be held 2-3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St., Rockland. A brief memorial service will be held at 2:45 p.m. followed by a reception celebrating Bob’s life at 3:30 p.m. at the Samoset Resort, Rockland Room, Warrenton St., Rockland.
