BANGOR – Robert Joseph Durocher, 65, died March 29, 2004, at a Brewer healthcare facility. He was born June 3, 1938, in Brentwood, N.H., the son of John Edward and Sadie Theresa (Zakia) Durocher. Known as “Snuffy’ he enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and collecting many kinds of items. He lived in Bangor the past 30 years. Snuffy was a handyman and worked at several boarding homes. He is survived by a daughter, Maryann Durocher of Brewer; a brother, John Durocher and wife, Debra, of Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Alice Cook and husband, Arthur, of Salem N.H., Beatrice Chiara and husband, Stephen, of Methuen, Mass., Harriet McGrath of Methuen, Mass., Sally McManus of Lawrence, Mass.; close friends, Marianne Mitchell, Diane Leighton, and Richard Waugh, all of Bangor; many nieces and nephews.
