ROBERT L. BRETON SR. LEWISTON – Robert L. Breton Sr., 75, a resident of 8 Nomar Court, Lewiston, died Wednesday evening, July 26, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was born Jan. 18, 1931, in Lewiston, the son of Henri Alma (Samson) Breton. He attended local schools, was an Army veteran of the Korean War and married the former Muriel LaFontaine Aug. 13, 1955. He began his career at several local businesses, but was most notably remembered as the owner of Bob’s Billiards in Lewiston. Mr. Breton also resided in Presque Isle from 1966 to 1982, where he was employed with Sampson’s Supermarkets. While in Presque Isle he was member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Muriel of Lewiston; three sons, Robert L. Breton Jr., Marc D. Breton and Paul D. Breton, all of Lewiston; four brothers, Romeo, Marcel and his wife, Vicki, Roger and his wife, Rolande, and Frank and his wife, Jeannette Breton, all of Lewiston; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Gerry, Edgar “Spike” and Eddie Breton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, Lewiston. Interment in Grace-lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the family owned Pinette Funeral Chapel, 1065 Lisbon St., Lewiston.
