MILO – Robert L. Gerrish Sr., 53, husband of Brenda J. (Badger) Gerrish, died May 23, 2008, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born March 30, 1955, in Brownville Junction, the son of Charles W. and Helen (Rolfe) Gerrish. Affectionately known as “The Goat” to his family, he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Brenda of Milo; two sons, Kevin Gerrish and fiancee, Jessica M. Redmond, of Dover-Foxcroft and Matthew Gerrish and wife, Nichol, of Brownville; a daughter, Ann Marie Nutter and husband, Jay, of Dover-Foxcroft; his mother, Helen Gerrish of Milo; two brothers, Charles Gerrish and wife, Beverly, of Lincoln and Wesley Gerrish and wife, Irene, of Lincoln; three sisters, Donna Tash and husband, Jimmy, of Chester, Helen Pennington and husband, David, of Brownville Junction and Dorothy Bean and husband, Robert, of Newport; five grand-children, Amber Lynn York, Taylor Lyford, Alexa Corrine Gerrish, Chelsey Gerrish and Dominic Redmond; his mother-in-law, Rita Badger; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Julie and Duane Smith. He was predeceased by his father; a son, Robert Lee Gerrish Jr.; a brother, Ernie Gerrish; a granddaughter, Mylinda Sue Gerrish; and father-in-law, Robert Badger. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Charles and Bev for their compassionate care during Robert’s illness. Graveside memorial services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, May 29, in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with Pastor David Mumford. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home.
