STONINGTON and LEWISTON – Robert L. Thompson, 46, died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 2, 1958, in Blue Hill, the son of Galen L. Thompson and Janet L. Snowden. In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by his grandmother, Edith Marshall of Sunset; three brothers, Galen Thompson, Jon Thompson and his companion, Nancy Hardy, all of Stonington, and Barry Thompson of Deer Isle; two sisters, Susan Cook of Stonington and Katie Hyson and her husband, Richard, of Deer Isle; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Katie, Ray, Ashley, Eddie, Aimee, Jacki, Alex, Zariah, Mason, Ricki, and Jackie. Robert was predeceased by a brother, Marshall Thompson in August of 2002. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Main Street, Stonington.
