LINCOLN – Robert Lewis Harriman, 70, husband of Claudette (Thur-low) Harriman, died April 8, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 19, 1933, in Lincoln, the son of Winfield L. and Alice B. (West) Harriman. Bob graduated from Howland High School in 1950. He spent four years in the U.S. Air Force, where he was an Air Force Mechanic and worked as an oiler for Lincoln Pulp & Paper for many years. In addition to his wife, Claudette, he is survived by a son, Richard Harriman and his wife, Amy, of Bangor; a grandson, Benjamin Harriman of Bangor; a stepson, Mark McIntyre and his wife, Shelley, of Lincoln; a stepdaughter, Janice and her husband, Robin Myers, of Stafford, Va.; four step-grandchildren, Bradley McIntyre, Duncan McIntyre, Griffin Myers and Mallory Myers; a sister, Edna Madden and her husband, Stephen D. Madden, of Greenfield Township; two nieces, Julie and her husband, Reggie Eugley, and Wanda Legere, both of Greenfield; an aunt, Viola Maxwell of Lincoln; his mother-in-law, Ruth G. Thurlow of Burlington; several cousins. He also leaves a very dear friend, Fearman Chessie. Graveside services will be held at the Lincoln Cemetery, later in the spring.
