Aug. 17, 1931 – April 20, 1997 A deep-sea diver – skin of steel, a sailor true behind the wheel. A small and mouthy little man, who always seemed to have a plan. You fought authority and often won, and when your last day on Earth had come you set sail with strength true to spirit. Your voice – even now – I can still hear it “You’ll miss me kid, when I am gone” I do, dear sir, each eve and dawn, until the day you come for me. Rest in peace my father, beneath the sea.
