CARIBOU and FORT FAIRFIELD – Robert M. Watson, 47, beloved son, husband and father, passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare facility, following an extended illness. He was born Oct. 26, 1958, at Caribou, the son of Philip H. and Elizabeth (St.Peter) Watson. Robert graduated from Caribou High School in 1977 and went on to establish his own carpentry and general contracting business the “Carpenter’s Heir.” Robert was married to Cindy Williams on June 28, 1997, and had attended the Celebration Center, Fort Fairfield. Robert was predeceased by his father, Philip H. Watson in 1995; twin siblings, Robert and Roberta Watson in 1942; one sister, Brenda J. Doak in 1992. He is survived by his wife of eight years, Cindy Williams Watson of Fort Fairfield; his mother, Elizabeth (St.Peter) Watson of Caribou; one son, Robbie T. Watson; and one daughter, Rose-Mary Williams, both of Fort Fairfield; three sisters, Norma Duheme and her husband, Joe, of Caribou. Phillippa Sirois and her husband, Jay, of Cromwell, Conn. and Donna J. Watson of Middletown, Conn.; mother-in-law, Mary A. Williams of Maryland; four nieces, Cathy I. Ray and her husband, Scott, of Gorham, Karen W. Duffy of Cromwell, Conn., Tammy Lynn Manzone of Bristol, Conn., Kimberly Lynn Allen and her husband, Charles, of San Antonio, Texas; three great-nieces, Nicole and Harmony Ray, both of Gorham and Leslie Sirois of Cromwell, Conn.; one great-nephew, Scott Manzone of Bristol, Conn. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the Celebration Center, Houlton Road, Fort Fairfield where funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, with the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Robert to his family who plan to establish a scholarship fund for Robert’s children, care of Mrs. Cindy Watson, 98 Aroostook Falls Rd., Fort Fairfield, ME 04742.
