EASTPORT – Robert Owen Whitman, 73, died Dec. 7, 2005, at a Calais hospital. He was born Jan. 16, 1932, in Ravern, Ohio. He is survived by a daughter, Julie R. Angelo of New Hampshire; a son, Michael O. Whitman; daughter and son-in-law, Tamara K. and Laurel L. Lawrence of Eastport; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Janice R. Whitman and son, Timothy E. Whitman. There will be no funeral services. Cards may be sent to Tamara Lawrence, 24 Washington St., Apt. 3, Eastport, ME 04631.
